Been working on new prints at the Newark Print Shop's print club on wednesday nights.

I also forgot to post that I have some work in shows at the Newark Print Shop, Four by Four, and the Printmaking Center of NJ, Structure.

I got interested in working with a more representational figure again. I have created a few collages based upon photos I've taken in the last few months and I'm turning them into monoprints. I also haven't posted a self-portrait in a really long time. I am still going to continue working with pattern. The more I think about it, the more it has become a ritual. I don't have religion. I don't meditate. I don't use drugs. I get stuck in mental loops and escape by working patterns, by hand, and letting them be almost perfect. I like the unexpected variations. I have ideas for more large pieces in the works.
